Andhra Pradesh first to start Aadhaar based serviceAndhra Pradesh is going to be the first Indian state to begin the Aadhaar based service initiating with five districts including Hyderabad and Anantapur. The other three districts of AP are Rangareddy, East Godavari and Chittoor. These are going to be the first five districts in the country where government schemes based on UID Aadhar will be started on a pilot basis. About 5 crore people have enrolled for Aadhar in Andhra Pradesh. This enrolment is equal to around 26% of the total Aadhar enrolment done in the country. About 60% population of AP has enrolled for Aadhar number and the rest are supposed to be covered in the second phase of Aadhar enrolment in the state.
